MONTHLY CAUSES
C-U At Home
The Phoenix Daytime Drop-In Center is the centerpiece of the C-U at Home Ministry. Friends without an address come together with our friends from the community. They invite anyone to visit and make new friends while learning more about the challenges and victories facing those who don’t have a bed to sleep in at night.
A21
A21’s mission is to end slavery. They are a nonprofit organization fueled by radical hope that human beings everywhere will be rescued from bondage and completely restored. They are the abolitionists of the 21st century. They work to free slaves and disrupt the demand.
Kings Kids Village
Kings Kids Village serves children either orphaned or made vulnerable by extenuating circumstances. Our purpose is that all of the children who come to us, having faced loss, pain, confusion, and hopelessness, will feel the embrace of God’s love and belonging at Kings Kids Village. While we stabilize them, we will look for possible extended family connections and work toward reunification.
Community Service Center
As a multi-agency service center, the Community Service Center provides mental health, social and welfare services to residents of northern Champaign County. By partnering with other local organizations they ensure Champaign County residents find the resources they need.
Jesus Is The Way
Christian Life has been blessed to have a long-time relationship with Jesus Is The Way Prison Ministry. Pray for the staff and the many volunteers who visit the jails, prisons, and oversee the aftercare program at the Rantoul Campus. Pray for their financial support. Also pray for the aftercare residents that we, at Christian Life, have the opportunity to interact with often on Sundays.
Living Alternatives
Living Alternatives is committed to saving the lives of unborn children by promoting life-affirming options and providing practical assistance, while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed, and to minister restoration to those who have been wounded by the trauma of abortion.
WBGL/WGNN
We’re proud to support local Christian radio stations like WBGL and WGNN. Through uplifting music and powerful stories, they share the hope of Jesus with thousands. Join us in praying that their message continues to inspire and point people to Him!
Feed The Forgotten
Feed the Forgotten, part of Pastor Phil Stern’s “Link Ministries,” serves Lepers, Widows, and Orphans—feeding 10,000 people each month in a remote Indian village. Every meal is a chance to share the love and light of Jesus with those who are often overlooked.
Jews For Jesus
Jews for Jesus exists to make the messiahship of Jesus an unavoidable issue to Jewish people worldwide. They evangelize through several means of communication, such as literature, media and the internet.
Moaz Israel Ministries
Maoz is dedicated to sharing the Gospel with the Jewish people in Israel through church planting, Bible distribution, and evangelism. They’re also translating Christian books into Hebrew to reach even more people. Pray for God’s favor as they work to help many recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
The Salvation Army
The objective of the Salvation Army seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus through the advancement of Christianity and education. They also strive to relieve poverty and other charitable objects beneficial to society or the community of mankind as a whole.
