I saw the general surgery team Monday about my hiatal hernia. They said that my stomach is up into my esophagus. They best surgery to fix it is an RNY gastric bypass. I will have an inpatient stay after surgery. Also I will be on a liquid diet for a while. I will also need another bladder surgery be years end, to replace the guide wire in my pacemaker.
What I am concerned about is Chad. Right now with his injuries he is not doing any cooking or cleaning or anything like that.
I will be inpatient for about a week after surgery, with an avg of 5-8 weeks down time after surgery if there are no complications
