U – Turns
Think of a husband and a wife in a car. The wife tells her husband to turn right at the next intersection, but by mistake, he turns left. When he realizes what he has done, he says to her, “Honey, I’m sorry but I went the wrong way.” If that’s all he does, that isn’t enough. He needs to make a U-Turn. There are times in our lives where we wake up, look around and realize we are not where we thought we were. It can be disheartening to notice, much less admit, that we made a wrong turn somewhere on this road we call life. We can’t undo every wrong decision we have ever made, but we can change the course of our projected future. Whether it is relationships, finances, jobs, careers, or our relationship with Jesus Christ, wouldn’t now be a good time to do an assessment of where you are and where you want to be? Today can be a day of change, you can begin one step at a time. God’s got a plan for you, and the secret is the peace you feel while pursuing it.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
