The Incredible Hulk

Who wants to be weak, right?  We can spend most of our energy trying to prove to everyone around us that we know what we are doing and we don’t need any help.  I don’t want anyone to know that i struggle with _________, or can’t __________.  When the sinful woman came and washed Jesus’ feet with oil, she was mocked. (Luke 7:36-50)  Jesus then proceeded to tell those around him how that through loving (worshiping) Him, they can be saved.  When is the last time you admitted you were wrong, weak, unable to perform a task, or vulnerable?  Today don’t try to be the Hulk, lean into the arms of the Saviour.  He can and will be your strength.

II Corinthians 12: 8-10 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said,“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
