Three Words

“It is finished.” John 19:30 These three words are the last words Jesus spoke before he died on the cross. This weekend, people all over the world will be celebrating “Easter”. I wonder how many of them are like I once was, not understanding what it is that Jesus finished.

To look at what Jesus finished let’s begin with what he started. John 1:1-2 (TLB) 1 Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. 2 He has always been alive and is himself God. It is important for us to know that Jesus has always been and He is God.
