For many months now I have been praying and waiting for what God has next. You see I’m at this transition time where my children are pretty self sufficient. I’m finding I have more time these days as compared to when the children were little & needy!  So I’ve been asking God “what’s next” ? All I hear are my own ideas in my head and nothing from the Lord.  I do believe God  wants each of us, no matter what season of life we are in, to ask Him “what’s next”? He always has a plan and purpose for us and we just need to seek Him.

I continue to press in as I search Gods’ word and  wait for His instruction.  What I have begun to notice is a desire to intentionally encourage young women in the faith; could that be God? As we step out and trust God, He is faithful to lead us towards what He has for us! God has directed me to a great book based on Titus 2:3-5.  The Titus 2 Woman by  Susan L. Godfrey lays out so plainly the traits of a spiritually mature woman and better yet how to get there! God has been faithful to guide me toward wonderful training material, that  will not only help me but other women in Christ.  You see He does have plans for me to purposefully encourage women in their walk with Christ and pass on Godly wisdom! He has plans for you as well.

I encourage you to ask God “what’s next”? Be ready for what He has because His plans for your life are much better than what you could ever dream! Here is a verse that has kept me focused and I pray it ministers to you also.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
